Photograph Conservation at George Eastman House

George Eastman House and the Image Permanence Institute will soon accept applications for the fifth cycle of an advanced-level, two-year residency in photograph conservation beginning September 2007.

With funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Advanced Residency Program will draw upon the rich resources of George Eastman House, Image Permanence Institute, Rochester Institute of Technology and other area institutions, and will provide exceptional opportunitites for training and research at the highest level. A combination of lecture and seminar instruction, laboratory experiments, treatment experience and exposure to research techniques and methodologies is intended to contribute to the professional development of the fellows and advance knowledge in the field.
